Welcome to the Florida Twisters website. Located in the Tampa Bay area, our baton program consistently deliver professional level training that consistently produces state, regional and national championship titles!
Our baton classes focus on the basics of baton twirling and subscribe to the National Baton Twirling Association standards and style.
Our classes range from beginner through advanced and are conveniently located in central Pinellas County at Seminole Recreation Center in Seminole.
Our Director, Rhiannon Sharpe, was a twirler with the Florida Twisters for 25 years. She competed in the advanced division, winning numerous State, Regional, National and World Open Championships. She was the feature twirler for Palm Harbor University High School from 2007 to 2010. She taught within the program from 2007 to 2022 when she took over as the new Director.
